  • Faith Formation logo small August 25, 2021 - + Registration has started for our Faith Formation classes that begin on Catechetical Sunday, September 19 and are at the following times: 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.: Grades PK, K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 10:00 a.m. Mass: Children’s Liturgy of the Word (2nd grade & under) 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Grades 6, 7, 8, 9 Visit our Ed Center in the church for more information and to register your family.   • August 24, 2021 - + An invitation to a special joint parish mission: Sr. Briege McKenna, OSC and Fr. Pablo Escriva De Romani, who both travel the world with their ministries, will be in the Southern Tier at St. Patrick’s and St. Thomas Aquinas from September 11-15. Sr. Briege is an Irish-born nun who is known for her healing ministry and ministry to priests, having served with Fr. Kevin Scallon, CM until his death in 2018. Fr. Therefore, the parish office will be OPEN Wednesday. + September Pre-Cana Class: For all engaged couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony: an in-person Pre-Cana Day will be held on Saturday, September 18 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 192-194 Court St., Binghamton NY.   • Parish Picnic collage August 9, 2021 - + What a fantastic STVBS Parish Picnic yesterday! We were blessed with great weather for both Mass on the Grass and the picnic. Congratulations to all involved, from the barbecue team who fired up the grill before dawn to the countless volunteers who prepared and served the delicious food, ran various booths, helped with traffic, set up the Mass, and made the event seamless under the direction of Chair Tori Reynolds. If the dessert does not require refrigeration, drop it off in the social hall kitchen on Saturday. However, if it does require refrigeration, please drop it off after 9 a.m. on Sunday. Consider making a monetary donation to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Freewill bins will be available during the picnic. Don’t bother checking the forecast. The Parish Picnic will go on, rain or shine!
