You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.

The Gospel reading for today comes from Luke. It’s a reminder to be prepared. While we look forward to the Jesus coming again someday, we never think how it will impact us. In our everyday lives, sometimes things change quickly and we are left wondering.

Many have noticed that we’ve not blogged for a couple of weeks. There’s a transition taking place. Our webmaster Mary Pat Hyland retired on October first. Please welcome Michelle Witkin who is starting to work with STVBS.org.

It’s quite fitting that we’re writing about the internet a few days after the feast day of Blessed Carlo Acutis.

This teenager is the first millennial on the road to sainthood. Carlo combined his skill with the internet and knowledge of Eucharistic miracles for a website that’s still active 15-years after his death.

Blessed Carlo Acutis, please pray for us!

Peace,

Deacon Tom
