Palm Sunday

+ Palm Sunday/Holy Week Mass Registration: As we approach the holiest time of the church year, we share the following information so you can make plans to worship with us.
Mass registrations for Palm Sunday weekend (March 27-28) and Holy Week (Holy Thursday – April 1 to Easter Sunday – April 4) will begin on these dates:
Online registrations via the website/Parish App: Wednesday, March 10.
Phone registrations: Monday, March 15.

The dates and times of services are:

  • Palm Sunday Masses – 4 p.m./10 a.m. (Palms will be distributed during and after Mass.)
  • Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper – 7 p.m.
  • Good Friday Service – 3 p.m.
  • Easter Vigil Mass – 8 p.m. (Note: no regular Mass at 4 p.m.)
  • Easter Sunday Mass – 10 a.m.

If needed, seating will open in the Social Hall.
We will alert the parish if registration closes for any Mass through our social media channels: the website, Facebook, Parish App, and Instagram.

+ Confessions will be heard today at 3 p.m. Please wear a mask and observe social distance.

+ Pope Francis is midway through his historic apostolic journey to Iraq. Here was a quote from him today, a perfect meditation for Lent:

From where, then, can the journey of peace begin? From the decision not to have enemies. Anyone with the courage to look at the stars, anyone who believes in God, has no enemies to fight. He or she has only one enemy to face, an enemy that stands at the door of the heart and knocks to enter. That enemy is hatred.”

—Pope Francis, address to the interreligious meeting, plain of Ur, Iraq.
