Respect Life

+ A weekend celebrating the sanctity of life: Today, on the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn, Bishop Lucia will celebrate a Mass for the Unborn at noon in the cathedral. Tomorrow, he will offer a Mass and Holy Hour for Life, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Both events will be livestreamed here. After Saturday’s Mass, there will be a socially distanced March for Life at noon beginning at the Museum of Science & Technology in downtown Syracuse.

St. Marianne Cope

+ Leading up to the Feast of St. Marianne Cope on Saturday, Jan. 23, the St. Marianne Cope Museum and Shrine in Syracuse continues to share Faces of Hope, a daily video series featuring people daily interviews of hope, healing and inspiration from people who share the values of St. Marianne in their day to day lives and work. Watch the videos here.

+ Valentine’s Day is just around the corner… If you are looking for a Valentine gift for someone who loves to cook (or you want to encourage to cook), there are only a few Amazing Tastes cookbooks left to purchase. The price of the book is $20 and can be picked up at the rectory during regular office hours. With over 200 recipes, this book is a great gift and a great way to support the work of the Women’s Club Ministry.
