In late 2019 through 2020 COVID-19 changed how we lived our lives. We were told that church was “non-essential”. while other venues such as Wal-Mart, liquor stores and even abortion clinics were “essential”. We may have gotten used to being alone on our screens, interacting with people in cyberspace, but never seeing them smile, hearing their voice or feeling their touch.

 The Lord God said: It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suited to him.

Genesis 2:18.

God created us to live in community. He created us to be with one another. He created us to work together and to help each other. When we cannot (or will not) it can weigh on our hearts, dampen our spirits and make us sad.
