+ Amazing Graces needs your “Amazing Compassion”: During the pandemic, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry has faced challenges in meeting food distribution requirements. One of the challenges has been the need to use only new/unused bags that can carry multiple canned items. Plastic, as you know, is now banned. Pam has had to purchase durable grocery bags (such as the Wegmans’ bags we use at Thanksgiving) with the monies meant for food. While this pandemic continues, as a parish, the STVBS Women’s Club Ministry is requesting donations of new/unused bags from Wegmans, Weis or any other store that sells that durable kind of bag. You can place your donations in the Amazing Grace’s bin throughout February. Once the pandemic is over, people coming to the pantry can bring those donated bags to be filled but, for now, only new/unused can be packed with pantry food. As always, we thank you, our amazing compassionate parishioners.
